SAM HAWKINS, who announced his retirement as Chairman of the BDO after 18 years in the post, has been unanimously elected Honorary President to recognise his long and distinguished service to the BDO and the sport of darts.

SAM is also President of the newly formed England Darts Organisation and a life President of Kent Darts Organisation.
